Formal Introduction

My name is Cortney and I will be introducing my Communications 111 project. My project revolves around finding research linking violence in children by the effect of different kinds of media specifically video games. I won't be tackling this alone, I had two other members of my group and their names are Alexis and Suzanne. We each took a form of media and are analyzing the effects they have on our youth. Our overall research question is "Is violence in the media influencing the behavioral and psychological minds of children?" This is important and has been studied heavily due to the increase in crime levels in the past decade and how the media easy influences citizens to believe certain things are ethical, when in all actuality they are not. I will answer this question by citing authors who've done research on this topic and formulating an unbias opinion about the media impact.
